MY STORIES
Today, I visited the temple and noticed several dogs seeking shelter under a shed to escape the rain. Moved by their situation, I decided to buy some biscuits and feed them. It was heartening to see them enjoying the food and finding comfort in such a simple gesture. #1000storiesofkindness
Today, while I was out, I came across a child asking people for food and money. I stopped and asked the child what he would like to have, and he said they wanted some iced tea. I happily offered him the iced tea, and it brought a big smile to his face, he really enjoyed it.Since it's summertime and I've seen these children around frequently, I've decided to make it a regular thing to give them iced tea and other drinks they might like. I've also decided to extend this kindness to others in need by donating cold water and juices. It's important to help out during these hot days, and I hope my small gesture can make a difference.#1000storiesofkindness

#1000storiesofkindness Yesterday was my first visit to a Gowshala, and it was a new experience for me. I fed food to many cows there, and it felt amazing to see how excited they were when I approached them with food. It made me feel really good to be around the cows and to help feed them.
Last weekend, while traveling, a kid sitting in the middle seat asked if he could have my window seat. I happily offered it to him, and seeing the joy on his face made me feel really good.#1000storiesofkindness
Yesterday, my mother and I had a doctor's appointment. She's been facing several health challenges and wasn't allowed to eat anything due to her conditions. We had to undergo tests to assess her progress, and thankfully, the results were positive; she showed improvement in many areas. Seeing her cover so well was a relief. Afterwards, I decided to treat her to an ice cream date. It had been her favorite treat, but she hadn't enjoyed it in the last six months. The joy on her face made me incredibly happy.
Today, my maid arrived for work in the morning but suddenly had to leave without informing me. She later returned and explained that she received a call from her daughter's school informing her that her daughter had fainted. She needed to rush to the school immediately. I quickly gave her Glucon D and some money to buy medicine and fruits for her daughter.
This story is relatable to my past story. My maid's daughter has been having fevers that keep coming back, and figuring out what's wrong has been hard. I first told her to see a doctor, but the first one just said she should eat better without really finding out what's going on. So, I took her to another doctor myself, and this time they suggested some tests. The results showed that she has typhoid fever. The doctor gave her medicine to take, and I helped her buy it.
I have a few indoor plants that I typically water indoors. Today, since it was raining outside, I decided to place them outdoors so they could enjoy the rain too. Just like humans love the rain, plants also seem to thrive in it. Seeing their leaves shining with raindrops gives me a sense of joy.#1000storiesofkindness
I believe kindness should be a part of our daily routine. It doesn't always need to be announced or spoken about; it should naturally flow from us each day. As we wake up, taking a moment to reflect on how we can spread kindness throughout the day, whether through small acts like helping family or friends, can make a big difference. Today, as I reflect on my day ahead, I wanted to share this note with everyone to spread positivity and encourage us all to make each other feel good.
I typically enjoy sleeping in on weekends, but with this kindness initiative underway, it motivates me to stay awake and contribute. Therefore, I decided to take action by providing food to birds and animals. Luckily, they were right outside my house, including birds that visited in the morning. Engaging in this activity has left me with a wonderful feeling, making me realize the value of waking up early. It fills my entire day with happiness.
My mother often forgets to stay hydrated, so I ordered a water bottle that reminds her to drink water. and helps keep track of how much water she has consumed during the day
My husband rarely smiles, even when I try to make him laugh with jokes. However, yesterday while he was working, I sent him a heartfelt note saying, "Your smile brings happiness to us all." In that moment, I felt kindness flowing from both of us, because I sent him the note, he responded by sending me a selfie with a smile.
I’m thrilled about the ELEMENT Leadership Development Program! The name alone highlights its significance, and I’m fully committed to taking on this challenge. After today’s meeting, I feel both motivated and a bit nervous, but I’m determined to make it a success.🦋
Growing up as the darkest person in my family, I was constantly told to try different things to become fairer, and honestly, I tried so many ways to change myself. But eventually, I realized you can’t change what God has given you. One day, I was feeling really down about it, but my brother came to me and reminded me of people who are working so hard in life and don’t care about appearances. He told me to be grateful for everything I have, things others might be struggling to attain. That conversation changed me. It took time, but I finally accepted myself, and now, I truly don’t care about the people’s opinions.#ELEMENT2024
After getting married, my life took a different turn when I was diagnosed with keratoconus, right after the wedding. Many people tried to discourage my husband, saying things like, "Why did you marry her? She has a problem. She should have told you before the marriage." I lost all my confidence and feared he might leave me. But then he reassured me, asking, "If I were in your place and developed a problem, would you leave me?" He told me, "I married you because I saw something in you that not everyone can see. I trust and believe in you." At that moment, I decided not to let others' opinions bother me and to focus on our bond instead.#ELEMENT2024
A major turning point for me was when I saw my cousin Ana transform into such a confident and hardworking person. I remember her as someone who used to be quite lazy, but seeing her now, full of confidence, motivation, and kindness really amazed me. Her change inspires me, and I want to experience a similar transformation in myself.#ELEMENT2024
#GratitudeLog First and foremost, I want to express my deep gratitude to my parents, who have always supported me and encouraged me to focus on inner beauty. There was a classmate of mine who was quite overweight, and I used to make fun of him. One day, my mother reminded me to look beyond appearances and recognize the qualities that truly matter. She pointed out that he was intelligent and had impressive grades. That lesson taught me never to judge someone based on their looks.
#GratitudeLog In my impact stories, I’ve shared how my brother motivated me to embrace my skin color with confidence. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to him for encouraging me to focus on my abilities. While some of my close relatives often put me down because of my complexion, advising me to avoid the sun and even tea, my brother’s support has been invaluable. He inspired me to concentrate on my strengths instead.
#GratitugeLog My father plays a crucial role in my life, and I have countless stories about him, all reflecting his kindness. He is incredibly generous, always willing to help anyone in need without a second thought. One story that particularly inspires me involves our gardener. During a hot summer, he shared with my father that his newborn twins were struggling with skin issues due to the heat. In response, my father gifted him a cooler and a refrigerator. The smile on our gardener's face was something I will never forget. And this act of kindness inspires me a lot.
#GratitudeLog I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my teacher, especially my English teacher from school, for the love and care she brought to her teaching. As a very introverted child, I never thought I could participate in competitions. However, when there was an audition for a quiz, she had unwavering faith in me and encouraged me to join. To my surprise, I won the competition! The confidence she instilled in me has made a lasting impact, and I’m truly thankful for her belief in my abilities.

I am grateful for my physical and mental health because they allow me to enjoy life fully. Being physically healthy means I can engage in activities I love, going for walks, or simply feeling energized throughout the day. Mental health is just as important,it helps me stay positive, manage stress, and connect with others. When both my body and mind are well, I can pursue my goals, handle challenges, and appreciate the little things in life.
I am grateful for my sister, who is always there to listen to me. We often share everything about our day, whether it’s what happened at work or in our household. She listens calmly and truly understands me, which is rare to find. There aren’t many people who genuinely engage in such conversations, so I really appreciate having her in my life.

I am incredibly grateful to the doctors, as they truly are like angels in our lives. Today, my mother experienced severe stomach pain, and we had to rush her to the hospital. I was out shopping today and saw someone had left their cart in the middle of the parking lot ,not in the cart return area. I could’ve ignored it, but I thought… someone else would have to deal with it. So I just took a second and returned it. It’s such a tiny thing, but sometimes kindness is in the small, unnoticed moments. 💛

Yesterday evening, while sitting in the park, I noticed a piece of trash on the grass.I quietly picked it up and threw it in the bin nearby. A small thing, but sometimes these little acts help keep the space nice for everyone. And who knows, maybe someone else noticed and will do the same next time.
Today my cousin was coming to my house for tea. She really loves dumplings, so I made some before she arrived. When she saw them, she was thrilled to see them and hugged me. s. It was a small gesture, but it made both of us happy.
