MY STORIES
It's not just a simple carry bag it's a bag of responsibility. Since I was in 10th grade I refused to take a polybag from the shopkeeper while bringing the milk. Definitely a few times I did take the polybag but I'm sure enough, it is not more than 10 times in those years. This bag is a gift from one of my aunts for groceries. It's not saving earth, it's saving ourselves and others.
I'm grateful for having shelter π
I'm grateful to be able to play football which always helps me to clear my mind. After playing there is a surge of positive energy which boosts my adrenaline and makes me feel good.
Congratulations to the whole teamπ¦! It was a great opportunity to connect with each other and express our thoughts and ideas . β¨π.
My mom is the first woman I love, and always teaches me to keep doing something, as I have never seen her sitting idle or being lazy. She is my inspiration to keep going, even when I don't feel like it.
"My mom is the first woman I love, and she always teaches me to keep doing something as I have never seen her sitting idle or being lazy. She is my inspiration to keep pushing forward, even when I don't feel motivated
Grateful for my mother for providing me snacks and salads between my meals. during hackathon.
A calm evening rewarding me with the beautiful view.π
When we say kindness the first thing that comes to my mind is from where I inherit it. I have heard about the kindness of my grandparents that they shared with others and I want to follow them too. Kindness is not only for humans but also for the animals and nature β¨ποΈ
Once, my cousin and I got stuck on a highway due to low fuel. We were pushing our bike as the next fuel station was 13 km ahead. Two random workers were passing by and stopped for us and provided us with fuel to reach the next fuel station. After refueling at the fuel station we waited for them to arrive and my brother offered them money for their generous act. Firstly they refused to take it but my brother was persistent so they had no other choice. I was happy that out of the blue someone helped us even when we were thinking why would anyone stop for us.π
Everyday my father feeds stray dogs and cows. And the dogs are found laying outside our house in the evening. He buys a bag of biscuits for the dogs every month but next time I will ask him to buy dog food instead which won't be enough for all of them but I know they will surely like it π.
Recently I was commuting by metro and as usual Rajiv Chowk being the centre of interchanging metro lines confused a man who was with his family. He asked me, "whether he is on the correct side to go to the Supreme Court" , which he wasn't. I just guided him,no he isn't but he still seemed confused so I decided to guide him properly as he was about to onboard on the wrong side I calmly told him what exactly he has to do. Later he got what I wanted to convey. Though it was a simple thing to do but still a little help can really help someone to reach their destination ππ.
One of my friends is not well since he lost both of his kidneys last year. I along with my other visit his home once or twice a week. We talk and have fun. As his friends it's our duty to make him feel good. I pray for my friend's recovery ππΌπ.
There is a kid in my neighborhood who is around 3 years old. Whenever he comes back home from school he stops by our house and rings our doorbell as it is easy for him to reach there. Sometimes I come out and find no one, then comes the little toddler's mumma who politely apologizes. Sometimes he rings it 4-5 times which annoys me but as soon as I open the door and see his cute little face my temper goes down because I wasn't able to do this kind of mischievous when I was child. My moms didn't let us do so π , through that child I sometimes remember my childhood π.
The day before yesterday,I saw a person's video of raising a fundraiser for the school in which he teaches. Firstly I verified whether it is legit or not, but after confirmation I contributed a little amount which I could afford. The reason I got involved was because of the way he was teaching and how he narrated all the things. The school was also a tiny house in a village. I hope people will contribute sonthat they will reach their goal and will do something better for those children π.
After a heated football match one of our teammates got energy drinks for us which was quite refreshing after getting exhausted. When he brought us the drinks everyone thanked him for his kindness π.
In the evening there were two lads outside my house. They simply knocked on the main door and told me that their kite had struck on our roof. I told them to wait then I searched for the kite and when I was about to lose hope that they were wrong I found a thread just on the very corner and started reeling it. Apparently the kite was in our neighbours roof. I brought it down and waited patiently but the kid didn't show up. At last when my mom returned from the market the kids called her and she handed over the kite. The kids were very polite and I think were shy too as they didn't bother me again instead they waited for someone to come in or out of the house.
Sometimes calling a person who is close to you can be like a magic mantra. I called one of my cousins who lives overseas, we talked for a while and he sounded happy, which reminded me of how it feels when you are away and someone from family calls for you about your whereabouts. We do care for people but due to our busy lifestyle,we fail to talk to them, deep inside they really matter to us. * In my case it's my brother but for you they can be your mother, aunt, friends, family* JUST PING THEM ONCE IF THEY ARE FAR FROM YOU.π
I went for some groceries at the nearby shop, somehow my internet was not working so I told the owner that I will pay once I will be back home. He said,"aapka koi dikkat nhi, aap kl bhi doge koi dikaat nhi" which made me smile and I felt joy there. I thanked him for their generous act also due to this small act, I was cheerful all day π.
After a long time, I watched a match with my father it was between India and England. The game became truly exciting in the final session, where two players scored centuries and helped India secure a draw. Thanks to the match, I had a wonderful time with my dad today. π
Recently, I went to a birthday party. The kids were trying to solve a complicated puzzle, but it was a bit too tough for them. I offered to help, and after struggling together for a couple of hours, we finally completed it. The kids thanked me for the help, and honestly, I really enjoyed putting the pieces together with them.
To help out mummy and sister I do the dishes after dinner on weekdays. It is a routine now. π
It was raining in the morning, when I saw a cow outside our house which was standing there for hours. I asked my mom,"do we have chapatis ". As my mom nodded I took 2 chapatis and fed the cow. For a while I stood and felt the lovely weather .
My sister told me about an incident that happened when a lady in the metro asked for help as she lost her phone. The lady asked her, "Can she make a call to her husband to inform him" -- my sister gave her phone to make the call, as well as stayed alert in case it's a scam.
I was travelling in the metro recently, there was an old man who just boarded and was looking around for senior citizens seats but all were full so I offered him my seat. The old man in response nodded and smiled.
