In this hot weather, we drink a lot of water, even while sitting in air-conditioned rooms. But birds struggle outside in the heat and hot winds. I Make sure to put a water bowl on our roof every day for the birds.
Yesterday, while I was on my bike in the market, it started raining. A battery rickshaw driver got stuck in a pothole filled with water and was struggling to get out. I went over and helped push his rickshaw out of the pothole.
I was on a plane and switched my seat from the middle to the aisle by asking a nearby passenger. There was a lady behind me with a window seat who had an injured foot and wanted an aisle seat. When I heard this, I offered her my aisle seat, and she was very grateful.
I wash kitchen utensils every morning after breakfast. It's a small way to show my appreciation to my mother for all she does. I'm happy to contribute and support her in any way I can.
A school kid comes to my mom for tuition. He is very passionate about studying, and his mother wants him to do well. I noticed his school bag was torn and in bad condition. I told him to get a new bag to protect his books from the rain, but he said he couldn't afford one. So, I gave him a bag I had at home to cheer him up.

Today, I was driving to the city, passing through two villages where public transport is hard to find. Villagers without their own vehicles usually walk or take lift to reach the highway, where transport is available. It was noon, 38 degrees, and no wind. I saw an old man walking and offered him a ride. The happiness in his eyes was indescribable. I dropped him at the bus stop, and during the journey, we talked about various issues people face in villages. He was very grateful to reach on time and gave me many priceless blessings.
There are 2-3 street dogs outside the house in our street. They look after all the houses at night and search for food in the street. So, I make sure to give them something to eat every night after dinner.
My brother and sister-in-law in Australia have a seven-month-old baby. My brother works full-time, and my sister-in-law has to manage the baby and the household on her own. Knowing how challenging it can be, I sent her an appreciation post. I told her, "You are a good mom." Her response was immediate and filled with joy. She said my compliment made her day and gave her a much-needed boost of confidence. It was a small gesture, but it reminded her that her hard work and dedication are noticed and appreciated. Sometimes, the simplest words of encouragement can make a world of difference.
An hour ago I saw two electricity workers werechecking bills. As soon as I saw them, I offered them water because the weather is really hot and humid. They were eagerly waiting for someone to offer them water.

My mother is my true she-ro. I have seen her working hard to balance her job and home with great determination, a strict yet emotional combination that has made me who I am today. Whenever I feel stressed, I look to her strength and perseverance in handling work and teaching and maintaining discipline effortlessly. Her only wish has always been to see us succeed and I am forever grateful for that. Happy Women's Day to the strongest woman I know!❤️
A Day in Her Shoes I often help my mom around the house a lot. I help in the kitchen, especially when we have visitors, and I always wash and iron my own clothes.
