MY STORIES
Recently one of the Aunties from our community who was known to me got a brain stroke due to which her right side was paralysed. she is unable to walk, sit or stand without support. After speaking with her and spending some time I realised that she is totally dependent on others and a walker would be very beneficial for her to move around. So I purchased a walker from Amazon on her birthday and surprised her with the same. She was very happy and there were tears of joy in her eyes.
Education plays an important role in today's era. I know a rickshaw driver whoes daughter is 3years old. As he was communicating with me regarding his daughter admission to a kinder garden and the challenges he is facing so I decided to help the child with some books Spreading Love Spreading Kindness ππππ
Last week my Mom was very sick and while she was lying on the bed I started rubbing her feet which were paining very badly as she had body pain and weakness . As I was rubbing her feet this made me realise that these are the same feet which have worked very hard to bring us up without any complaints or grumbling. Taking care of our parents is a blessing πππ
As I was walking in my apartment complex, I noticed that many members of the society come down for a walk every day. Among them, there is an elderly uncle who never misses his evening walk. One day, I decided to greet him with a "Good evening, Uncle." He stopped and asked, "Hey, I don't know you, but you always greet me." I explained that I live in the same society and see him walking every day. From that day on, he started calling me "beta" and greeted me whenever he saw me. Kindness costs nothing. Spread kindness as much as possible.
Today, I received a call from a contact who was very sick and unable to leave her house, asking if I could buy some eatables for her. I decided to visit her in the evening and brought along the items she needed. Upon receiving the bags, she kept thanking me for my kindness. Kindness is the key. Kindness is the cure. Kindness is amazing. Kindness is pure. Kindness makes the world a better and happier place. Letβs perform an act of kindness today, happily and with grace.
Recently, I decided to reach out to a friend to check on her after she lost her loved. After our conversation, she mentioned that this call was very unexpected & thanked me for taking the time to check on her and expressed her gratitude.
As I was walking in my apartment complex, I noticed a three-year-old boy insisting that his sister go outside the gate to a nearby shop to buy him a chocolate. He was holding a 1-rupee coin and persistently pulling his sister towards the shop. I stopped and asked what was happening. The little girl explained that her brother had only 1 rupee and wanted a chocolate. So, I took the three-year-old to the nearby shop and bought him some chips and a chocolate. The boy was so happy and kept thanking me. Seeing the joy on his face made me incredibly happy. Little acts of Kindness can create Big Impact πππ
On Saturday evening, while I was returning from the market with some fruits, I saw a lady on an Activa whose fruits and coconut water had scattered all over the road. My brother stopped the bike and asked me to help, as the road was blocked. I picked up the 5 litre jar of water that was beside her bike and gathered the scattered fruits, setting them aside so other vehicles could pass. The lady thanked me for the help. #Kindness Matters # Kindness creates Impactπππ¦πΈ
Recently, I have started helping my family with household chores. I clean the house, wash utensils, and prepare hot meals for my father. Taking care of my family members has strengthened our bond of love and unity. I am grateful to God for all His blessings on my family and for the opportunity to contribute to our home. #IT TAKES COURAGE TO BE KIND.β€οΈππ¦π
One of my friends mentioned during a chat that she needed a stole but couldn't go to the city because of her toddler. On Saturday, while running errands, I decided to get a stole for her. I purchased one and gave it to her yesterday. Today, she called to thank me, expressing her love for the color and her gratitude that I remembered her need despite my busy schedule. Kindness is doing what you can, where you are, with what you have.ππππΈ
One of my church friend recently entered motherhood, welcoming a beautiful baby boy who is now 4 months old. To celebrate this joyous occasion, I decided to gift her some baby clothes and essentials as a token of love. It's incredible how small acts of kindness can make such a big impact. Seeing the surprise and gratitude in her eyes reminded me that showing love and care, even in simple ways, can make people feel truly appreciated and cherished. #KindnessActCampaign: Spread love and kindness, and make someone's day a little brighter.
I recently ordered some groceries from Big Basket, with the delivery scheduled for the first half of the day. Watching from my balcony, I saw the delivery person arrive. To make things easier for him, I decided to keep the door open so he wouldn't have to search for the flat. As he approached my floor, I called out to let him know he had reached the right flat. The relief on his face was evident when he realized he didn't have to keep searching. He then mentioned that he had to use the staircase because the lift wasn't working due to some ongoing electrical work. I thanked him for bringing the delivery on time and gave him a five-star rating on the Big Basket app to ensure his efforts were recognized.
Today, as I set out from home to complete some operational tasks, I noticed our regular fruit-selling vendor, an elderly lady, sitting by the roadside. I parked my bike and greeted her, asking about her health. Since it was drizzling and the wind was blowing, I saw a nearby tea stall and decided to buy her some hot tea to help keep her warm.
Yesterday, a woman approached me with a request to withdraw money from her ATM, as she was not familiar with how to use it. Her salary had been credited, and she needed to withdraw the money for household chores. I immediately took her to the nearby ATM and withdrew the amount for her. She kept thanking me for my assistance.
