MY STORIES
Beautiful sunset
success
Today morning I walked and found some chunks of bricks in the middle of the road. So I thought it was dangerous for all the moving vehicles, so I picked it up carefully and put it in the park area.
Yesterday evening, during my walk, I noticed a small bird's nest on the ground. Inside were two tiny, chirping chicks. I gently picked up the nest and placed it carefully back on a small tree branch. The mother bird soon returned to her nest, settling down with her chicks. This small act of kindness had saved the birds, giving them a safe place to grow.
Yesterday evening in the vegetable market, an elderly man accidentally tipped over his basket of vegetables, scattering them everywhere. People walked by, but no one stopped to help him, so I decided to assist and gathered the vegetables, returning them to his basket. The man thanked me warmly, and we shared a smile. This small act made his day better, and I felt happy.
Yesterday afternoon, I noticed a few pigeons frequently visiting my terrace, appearing tired and thirsty. So, I decided to take action. The next morning, I set out a bowl of water on my terrace. To my delight, the pigeons quickly discovered this oasis. Watching them splash and sip brought me immense joy. This small act of kindness not only helped the birds but also filled my days with happiness and a connection to nature.
On a sweltering summer day, the gas delivery man arrived at my doorstep with heavy cylinders. His forehead glistened with sweat, and his shirt clung to his back. Feeling a surge of compassion, I offered him a glass of cold water with a warm smile. The delivery man paused, surprised, then gratefully accepted the drink. As he sipped the water, relief washed over his face. He thanked me sincerely. This small act of kindness transformed my ordinary day into a memorable moment of humanity.
Yesterday, my mom was not feeling well and had severe pain in her legs. To give her a break from all the kitchen activities, I prepared dinner for her.
Yesterday, I saw an elderly woman struggling to climb the apartment stairs with heavy bags. Without a second thought, I offered to help. Together, we slowly made our way up. The woman was incredibly grateful and thanked me with a warm smile. This simple act of kindness eased her burden.
Yesterday evening, I noticed a young boy with a shoe polish kit at the corner of the grocery shop, looking exhausted and hungry. He asked everyone for some food, but no one offered him any. Watching the boy, I thought I should help him. I bought food from a nearby vendor and approached him. "Here, have something to eat," I said, handing him the food. The boy's eyes lit up with gratitude as he accepted the meal. At last, he said, "Thank you, bhaiya."
Every morning, I walked to the park, a packet of biscuits in my hand. The stray dogs knew me well, their tails wagging excitedly as I approached. I gently called each one, crouching down to feed them. This simple act of feeding biscuits brought joy not just to the dogs but to me as well. It was my way of making the world a bit kinder, one biscuit at a time. This daily ritual became a source of comfort and connection, illustrating how small gestures can create ripples of compassion.
Yesterday evening, I came from the grocery shop from my bike, I noticed an elderly man struggling to walk through a muddy road. The rain had turned the path into a slippery mess. I stopped and offered the man a lift. Grateful, the man accepted and climbed onto the bike. As they carefully navigated the muddy road, the man shared stories of his youth. By the time they reached his destination, both were wet but smiling. I felt a deep sense of satisfaction, knowing his small act of kindness had made a big difference.
Yesterday evening, I was at the vegetable market and tried to pay the amount through UPI, but the UPI didn't work, and I didn't have enough cash to pay the vendor. I asked the elderly man with a gentle smile if I could pay him tomorrow. The vendor told me not to worry and trusted me to bring the rest of the money later. The next morning, I returned to the market and handed the man the money I owed. The vendor's eyes sparkled with gratitude, and he thanked me for my honesty, saying it restored his faith in people. I walked away feeling good, knowing that a simple act of returning the money had made a difference in someone's day and strengthened the bond of trust in the community.
My home had become a cluttered reflection of my busy life, leaving me feeling overwhelmed. Last Saturday, I decided to practice self-kindness by rearranging my household items. I started with the living room, moving furniture, decluttering shelves, and creating a cozy reading nook. As I worked, I felt a sense of control and clarity returning. By the end of the day, my home looked inviting and organized. I sat in my new reading nook, enjoying a cup of tea and a sense of accomplishment.
This afternoon, I ordered food through an app. The delivery boy handed me the package with a tired smile. I noticed his effort and gave him a small tip along with a 5-star rating on the app, adding a quick note: "Great job, thank you!" His face lit up, and he thanked me warmly, saying it made his long day worthwhile. That simple gesture left us both smiling.
This morning, I went out to buy milk as usual. While I was near the shop, I noticed a street dog wandering nearby. As soon as he saw the milk packet in my hand, he slowly walked toward me, wagging his tail gently. He didn't bark or beg just looked at me with kind, hopeful eyes.Feeling his silent request, I went to the shop and bought a packet of biscuits. I opened it and offered it to him. He looked at me for a moment, then happily started eating. Sometimes, kindness doesn't need words just a wagging tail and a shared moment.
Today, at a mobile shop, I noticed a poor man struggling to choose a second-hand phone. He looked confused, not knowing what RAM or storage meant. I approached him, explained the differences, and helped him pick the best phone within his low budget. After buying it, he smiled warmly and said, “Thank you, bhaiya.” His happiness over something so small touched my heart deeply.
This morning, I woke up early and saw Mom busy in the kitchen. I decided to help her prepare breakfast. chopped vegetables while she made the parathas. She smiled and said, "Thank you, it's nice to have a helper." Her smile made my day. Helping her felt good - a small act of kindness, but full of love.
Today, while it was raining heavily, the gas cylinder delivery man came to the door. He was completely drenched. I invited him inside and asked him to sit for a while. I made a hot cup of tea for him. He smiled and said, "Thank you so much, bhaiya." His smile touched my heart.
