MY STORIES
My uncle is an auto-rickshaw driver. One day, we found a mobile phone left behind by a passenger. Soon after, the owner called the phone. We spoke with him and called him to pick his phone. When he arrived, we asked a few questions to confirm he was the owner, which he answered correctly. We then returned his phone. He was very grateful and offered a reward, but my uncle politely declined.

Yesterday, on my way home, I noticed a boy struggling to push his bike on a bridge. I stopped and asked him what the issue was, and he told me that his bike had run out of fuel. Since I am a local, I knew that the nearest petrol pump was almost 1.5 km away. I told him to sit on the bike, and I pushed it with my leg all the way to the petrol pump. After filling up, the boy's face lit up with a smile, and he thanked me.
I recently donated my blood to a blood donation center in my area, hoping to make a difference in someone's life. It felt fulfilling to contribute to such a crucial cause and potentially save lives. Acts of kindness, no matter how small, can have a profound impact on others.
I went to a watch repair shop in my area to get my watch fixed. While the repairman was working on my watch, a beggar came into the shop and asked the owner for some money. The owner refused to give him money, I feel sad for the beggar then I decided to do something kind. Instead of giving him money I offered to get him something to eat and he said yes. I quickly walked to the nearest sweet shop and packed some snacks for him.
This morning, coming back from the gym, I saw a lady struggling to start her scooter. I walked up to her and asked if she needed help, and she said yes. She mentioned that she was getting late for the office, so I checked the petrol first, which was fine. Then I tried kick-starting it. After a few kicks, the scooter finally started. She smiled and thanked me.
For the past few days, I didn't see the dog I always feed near my house. But yesterday, as I was getting my bike out of the parking spot, I spotted him! He came right up to me, wagging his tail happily. I petted him and played for some time. I went inside my house and got some biscuits for him, he happily enjoyed eating biscuits. I was really tired after working all day. But when I saw him, all my tiredness went away.
A couple of days ago, I went to a medical shop to purchase some medicines and made the payment for them. While I was there, I noticed an elderly man struggling to make a UPI payment, which kept failing. I asked him if he needed any help. He told me he was trying to make the payment, but it wasn't working. I asked him to give me his phone. After checking, I noticed that he had airplane mode turned on, I turned off the airplane mode and asked him to try again and it worked. After the successful payment he smiled and thanked me.
After doing grocery shopping, I was returning home and stopped at a signal. I saw some children selling tissue paper and dustbin bags. I felt bad seeing them selling these items at such a young age. So, I called them and gave them some packets of biscuits. Their smiles made my day.
My neighbor is shifting to Mumbai because he is a government servant and has been transferred there. I helped him move all his stuff. He lives with his family of three, and we have known each other for almost two years. After shifting all the stuff, he invited me for coffee as a gesture of gratitude and also enjoyed my company during the move.
Yesterday, while riding my bike, I noticed a man with his bike stand still down, which could potentially cause an accident. I approached him and advised him to fix it. He expressed gratitude for the reminder, and I felt good for helping him.
Few days ago, I met my father's friend while I was on my way to do some urgent work. I asked him where he was going, and he told me that he was heading to his daughter's home. Since his bike was unavailable, he was looking for an auto to go to the nearest bus stand, as he planned to take the bus. I was also going in that direction, so I offered to drop him off at the bus stand. He thanked me, and we had a great conversation on the way. I really enjoyed talking with him.
Yesterday, I went to my nearest ATM, and there was a man already inside withdrawing money. I waited outside for about 15-20 minutes. When I went in to see if he needed help, he told me that the PIN he entered was incorrect and he needed cash urgently. I suggested that he generate a new PIN for his debit card. He didn’t know how to do this, so I explained the process to him. After following the steps to generate a new PIN, he was able to withdraw his money successfully.

Today, I helped a beggar by giving him some food and water, as he looked hungry and tired. He seemed genuinely grateful, and his smile reminded me how even small acts of kindness can make a difference.
