MY STORIES
#1000StoriesOfKindness An elderly beggar came to the neighborhood, seeking help. Sadly, everyone closed their doors, refusing to give him anything and shouting at him to go away. Witnessing this, I couldn't understand how people could behave so heartlessly. I approached the old man, offering him some water and food. His face lit up with a smile, and it warmed my heart to see such a simple act of kindness make a difference. #WeMakeAwesomeStories #WeMakeAwesomeHappen #1000StoriesOfKindness #1GENImpactStories
#1000storiesofkindness one of my cousins was staying in a hostel but wasn't getting proper meals, which affected his studies. So, we called him to stay with us at home. He has been with us for the past four months now, and he's happy because he can focus on his studies. Additionally, he is able to save money for his future education.
Yesterday, I helped my mom with her daily routine, and even though I only did a little, it brought her some relief. The happiness it gave me brought me peace.
Yesterday, while walking on the street, I saw an old man struggling to start his moped. I tried to help him, and after several attempts, we finally got the moped started, and he went on his way.
As part of my daily routine, I go for a walk on the street. Today, I noticed a car parked on the roadside, and due to the traffic, the driver was having trouble reversing. I decided to help by stopping other vehicles to give the driver space to get onto the main road.
I'm sharing my experience with my brother to help him prepare for his interview. I reminded him to present himself confidently and professionally. I'm sure he'll do great and I thanked him for the opportunity to encourage him.
It's currently the rainy season, and yesterday, my mom had been hanging clothes on the terrace. She had finally finished her task and had gone back inside, leaving the clothes to dry. After some time, the clothes were dry, but then sudden rain started pouring down! I hastily ran to grab the clothes to prevent them from getting wet again.
Today, I bought a book as a gift for my brother. He spends most of his time on his phone and playing games on his laptop. I noticed this and thought a good book might help him spend less time on screens. I chose this book to show my kindness and to help him learn valuable life lessons on how to serve others.
Yesterday, a delivery boy was having trouble finding an address. I asked him where he needed to go and explained how he could reach his destination.
Noticing my mom looked tired from fasting and having a cold too, I wanted to help. While she rested, I cooked her favorite fasting dishes and prepared a fresh fruit platter with juicy oranges, sweet apples, and ripe bananas. When I served her the meal, a smile spread across her face. She said, "Thank you, dear. This means a lot to me." I helped her with little things, realizing how small acts of kindness could make a big difference.
Today, as I walked through my neighborhood, I noticed the vibrant preparations for the Ganpati festival. A local dhol group was setting up for their practice session. Seeing them struggle with their equipment, I decided to lend a hand. Together, we carried the heavy drums and other instruments to their practice spot. Their smiles and gratitude warmed my heart. It was a simple act, but it made a difference. Helping them reminded me of the joy that comes from small acts of kindness. By the end of it, I felt a deep sense of happiness and connection with my community. In moments like these, we find the true spirit of festivals.

Today, I received a call from a friend who urgently needed a government certificate for official work. Understanding the gravity of the situation, I immediately reached out to some of my contacts who could assist in expediting the process. This act of kindness not only relieved his stress but also strengthened our bond, proving that a little help can make a big difference in someone's life.

There is construction work going on at my home, and the workers have been working tirelessly. To support them, we decided to slightly increase their pay and offer them a small cup of tea to help them stay refreshed and active.
Yesterday, I found a ₹20 note lying in front of the Bikaneri shop. I wasn’t sure who had dropped it, but I didn’t want to just walk away with it. So, I handed the money over to the shop owner and told him, “If someone comes looking for it, please return it to them.” He gave me a warm smile in response, and in that small moment, I felt genuinely happy. It reminded me how even a small act of honesty can brighten someone’s day including your own.
Today is water supply day at our home, and I decided to help my mother by storing water and managing all the containers. I knew it would reduce her workload and give her some time to rest. There is ongoing construction work at my home, and several workers are working tirelessly every day. To support them and show appreciation for their hard work, I make sure to provide them with clean drinking water daily, as per their needs. It’s a small gesture, but it brings comfort and shows care during their long hours of labor.
