MY STORIES
Today evening I saw few plants were dry near by my house. I gave them water. I don’t know why, but it made me feel good inside.

This morning, I woke up early with a joyful heart and decided to surprise my family by making them a delicious breakfast. It felt so good to start the day by sharing something special with them.

Kindness makes you a good human: A couple of days ago, I was walking near my colony’s playground when I saw a small kid trip and fall while running. He scraped his knee and was trying hard not to cry, just sitting quietly and holding his leg. I had a few tissues and a small bandage in my bag, so I walked over and asked if he was okay. He nodded but looked like he was holding back tears. I helped clean the wound a bit and stuck the bandage on. It wasn’t a big injury, but I think he just needed someone to care at that moment. His friend came over, and they both gave me a quick smile before running off again like nothing happened. It was such a small thing, but it felt nice to be there when he needed a bit of help.
Last night, after dinner, I sat with my grandma and asked her to tell me a story like she used to.She smiled and began sharing memories from her childhood. I just listened. She looked so happy while talking, and I felt really good too. Sometimes, just sitting and listening means a lot☺️❤️
Yesterday at the gym, our coach was absent. I was asked to guide a few new members who had just joined and weren’t familiar with the workouts or equipment. Even though I had my own workout to complete, I politely helped everyone — showing them how to use machines, explaining the exercises, and making sure they felt comfortable. It felt good to support them, especially because I remember how confusing it was when I first started. I still managed to complete my own workout too —
Yesterday evening, while returning from the gym, it started raining heavily. One of my gym members, who lives in the same direction as I do, was stuck without an umbrella. Since I had one, I offered to share it with him so we could walk together. It felt nice to help someone in a small way during an unexpected situation.
At the ATM, the person in front of me was having trouble understanding the options, so I politely offered to help and guided him step by step until he was able to withdraw his money.
Today evening, I spent some time cleaning our garden, watered the plants, and gave my bike a proper wash. It felt good to care for the things around me.
This morning at the gym, I saw someone struggling to figure out how to use a machine. He looked confused and a bit shy to ask for help. I went over, showed him how it works, and helped him set the weights. Later, he thanked me and said it was his first day and he was nervous. Felt good to help someone feel more comfortable.

Last evening while walking back from the store, I saw a man with crutches trying to cross a busy road. Cars were rushing, and he looked a bit hesitant to move forward. I quickly walked over, stopped beside him, and helped guide him across safely. Once we crossed, he smiled and said, “Thank you, beta. I was waiting for someone like you.” It felt really good to be there at the right time.
Last Sunday morning, I noticed a patch of land near my house filled with dry soil, garbage, and broken bottles. Instead of walking past like I usually do, I decided to do something. I spent the day cleaning the area with a few old gloves and a garbage bag. Then, I planted a few small saplings I had at home—neem, tulsi, and hibiscus.
Yesterday evening in a crowded bus, an old man got on but couldn’t find a place to sit. I was on a two-seater, already sharing it, but I offered to adjust and make space. It was a bit tight, but he smiled and sat down gratefully. He said, “People usually just look away. Thank you for noticing.” It wasn’t a big thing, but it reminded me how small gestures can make someone feel seen.
Today, I saw an older man near my house struggling with his cycle — the tyre was flat. I brought my hand pump and helped him fill air. He smiled and said, “You saved my knees today.” It felt good to help with something so small but useful.
On hot days, when a delivery person comes home, I usually offer them a glass of water. Sometimes they’re surprised, sometimes they smile and take it without a word. It feels normal to me — but for them, it might be the only break they get that hour.
I saw someone drop their wallet while getting off a bus. I quickly picked it up, ran after them, and handed it back. They were surprised and smiled, saying, “Thank you so much!”
Last weekend when I was travelling through bus all the seats were full. I saw a tired woman with a child in her arms. I stood up and offered my seat. She sat down, whispered, “Thank you,” and her baby fell asleep peacefully.
